Here’s a peek at my preparations leading up to the National Day Rally. Many thanks to the many people who’ve helped me with the speech, made the slides, designed the set or run the production. They have all worked very hard to help me prepare as effective a presentation to you as possible.
Thanks also to all of you who have given me suggestions as to what I should cover. I will indeed be talking about many of the things that you are concerned about, though obviously I can’t cover all of them in one speech. 我的同事制作这个短片，与大家分享我们过去几个星期准备群众大会演讲的点点滴滴。这场演讲是众多幕后人员的心血结晶。有的为演讲内容提供宝贵意见，有的制作视像资料和讲台布景，确保演讲能够达到最佳效果。他们尽心尽力，我十分感激。
公众人士针对我应该谈什么提出很多建议。实际上，我要谈的也是许多人所关注的课题。当然，我不可能接纳所有人的建议。明晚的演讲，我将尽力而为，希望大家支持。
